Ongoing Public Relations and Media Outreach

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Momentum2 has been working with leading global tour operator, Collette since it launched its Australian office in 2015. 


Responsible for ongoing media outreach for Collette, Momentum2 has been involved in organising media famils with key travel journalists, along with writing and distributing press releases and media alerts, creative copywriting and creating interview opportunities for representatives of Collette. 

CLIENT OBJECTIVES

  • To increase brand awareness of Collette within the Australian market, for consumers, travel trade and media

  • To position Collette as a leading global tour operator and an innovator in guided travel

  • To drive traffic to the official Collette website and to increase bookings on outbound Collette tours

OUTCOMES

 

Momentum² has conducted substantial media outreach for Collette and continues to build on its results. 

A selection of 2019 highlights included:

  • Frederick’s visit to Sydney, Melbourne and Perth increased interest in Collette’s tours and in particular Oberammergau, which generated mainstream, specialist and religious publication coverage

  • Famils included Greece, Ireland, Paris, Poland, Southern USA, Washington, Finland and Costa Rica

  • Thanksgiving luncheon event held in Melbourne with 16 confirmed attendees to promote Collette’s New England tours
