Woomargama Station

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Momentum² was engaged to manage the media outreach for the announcement of the Nature Conservation Trust's (NCT) most recent covenant which was placed on Clare Cannon’s property, Woomargama Station in Albury, NSW.  


The brief was to generate interest in the NCT’s covenant process via Clare’s story, and engage a range of media to publicise the story. 

CLIENT OBJECTIVES

  • To create and implement a media strategy to engage a wide range of media to publicise the covenant on Woomargama Station

  • To raise awareness about the Nature Conservation Trust of New South Wales and the conservation covenant process

  • To communicate the importance of conservation and biodiversity to the broader public

  • To facilitate interviews between media, Clare Cannon and representatives of the NCT including CEO Gary Wells

OUTCOMES

 

This campaign was highly successful, with over 10 interviews being organised for Clare and stories in ABC Radio National Life Matters, ABC Landline, The Senior, The Border Mail, Wild Magazine, Australian Wildlife Society Magazine, The Land and Property Observer among others.
