Highlights included editorial syndicated across 15 News Corp titles including the Daily Telegraph, Courier Mail and Adelaide Advertiser, as well as coverage in the West Australian.

CLIENT OBJECTIVES

  • Highlight the digital inclusion help available through the Be Connected program

  • Demonstrate the impact that the Be Connected program has on digitally disadvantaged members of the community

  • Position Good Things Foundation as a thought leader in this space by engaging spokespeople to share key messages

  • Build the profile of the foundation

ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN

Momentum2 created a number of case studies, profiling Be Connected students and digital mentors from all around Australia. We interviewed them each about their involvement with the program, to highlight the impact that learning digital skills can have for older people's wellbeing and the ways that Be Connected is helping to bridge Australia's digital divide.

We pitched these case studies to various local media, including Greek and Chinese language publications, which resulted in 11 of the case studies being interviewed for print and radio features. Editorial was also created about three case studies with outstanding stories, to accompany the advertising campaigns undertaken with News Corp and the West Australian.

Good Things Foundation CEO, Jessica Wilson, was also given a number of great opportunities to offer her expertise on Australia's progress in digital inclusion and the importance of continuing to equip all Australian's with the skills to safely navigate and partcipate in life online.
